Loved the sale they had on my all-time favorite wine: Purple Toad Wines. The Black and Bruised was exceptionally lower than anywhere I have seen on the planet. They could carry like 34 more of my faves in this brand, like Purple Toad Mango, white. But there's tons of other selections. Jan 10, 2016 - Purple Toad Winery: Black and Bruised (Red Wine, slightly sweet, really good) From Paducah, Kentucky USA (CBN).

This was our 6th winery of the day on my wife's birthday tour of Western Kentucky wineries. We read in the Wine-ing Your Way Across Kentucky book that it was a great one to visit so we made sure to get to it on our trip.
When we arrived, it was apparent they were in the process of doing some work. It looks like they will have a much nicer place once that is done.
When they found out it was my wife's birthday day, they gave her a souvenir glass. We liked the black and bruised wine so much, alone with a few others, that we bought half a case! Next time we pass this way, or even close, we'll be sure to make the time to visit again.
We had purchased some Purple Toad wines in our local liquor stores but when we were planning a trip to Land Between The Lakes we wanted to visit the winery. We were not disappointed.
The tasting is free and you can sample as many or as few wines as you like. They have lots of cute items to purchase in addition to wines. In addition to buying a case of wine we bought shirts, glasses and wine cork cages.
All priced very reasonably. The server, Beth was super friendly and helpful with our choices of wines. This place was busy with people stopping in and buying cases of wine as well as other people just stopping in for a wine tasting. Highly recommended! We moved to the Paducah area last Fall and just got around to stopping at the Purple Toad for a wine tasting last Saturday.
We should have gone sooner- what a great place! There was a wedding reception going on in the banquet area so the place was hopping! But we were immediately greeted and told we could taste everything we wanted for free! That's a great concept- I tasted more wines than I normally would have this way before I made a decision to buy a glass to drink and a few bottles to take home.
The owners, June and Allen were very friendly and helpful. Allen gave us an impromptu tour of the wine making process in the back when he heard that we made some wine at home an were interested in how he did things. His operation is very impressive, especially for someone that has only been doing this commercially for about 6 years! There is quite a variety of wines. All the ones I tasted were good.
We are pleased to present you this article dedicated to the walkthrough and the complete guide of Tooth and Tail. Here you will find all the resources that our staff have found about Tooth and Tail.We also have, eventually, trainers and achievements guide for this game. Tooth and tail walkthrough games. Tooth and Tail is an Arcade-Style Real-Time Strategy game set in a world of animal revolution. Wage war with customizable factions, featuring units like mustard-gas skunks and flamethrowing boars. From the creators of the IGF-winning game Monaco, Tooth and Tail distills the Real Time Strategy genre down to a few buttons and eight-minute matches. Hello, I really waited for this game and like it so far. Played a few online and against ai, and really enjoyed the fast pace. My only question here, and sorry if I write this in the wrong place, but since the cow and chickens and dogs and cats are also 'farm' related animals like pigs, is therr a chance of adding more units and options like fight during night or sunset or morning, winter. The reason for this is because the longer you expend not finding and damaging the Quartermaster's bases, the larger his squirrel army gets, making your lizards more useless as the mission goes on. By selling the lizard warrens, you inmediatily have enough food for a chameleon, and if you quickly find 2 meal pickups.
I would have to say that their offerings lean a bit more to the sweet, fruity wines than the drys. I normally drink mostly dry whites but I found I really enjoyed the sweeter fruit wines too. We brought home a bottle of the 'Black and Bruised' and the 'Cabernet Franc' to drink at home. It was a great visit. We will definitely be back often.
