Parents need to know that Gravity Rush Remastered is an action/adventure game for the PlayStation 4. The game is a re-release of the, complete with upgraded presentation and gameplay, as well as all the original game's downloadable content. Players control a female hero with the ability to manipulate how gravity affects her, requiring strategic thinking for both navigating the world and fighting enemies. Combat is a core part of the game, though there's no blood or gore.
Though the game doesn't feature any overtly sexual content, there's some occasional innuendo, and many female characters are portrayed in revealing outfits. GRAVITY RUSH REMASTERED is a PlayStation 4 port of the original game released on the PlayStation Vita. The new version includes enhanced graphics and sound, as well as all the extra downloadable content available with the original. Players take control of Kat, a young amnesiac girl with the power to change the way gravity affects her and her immediate surroundings. With no clue of her identity, her past, or how she lost her memories, Kat seeks out answers while trying to save her city from a mysterious invading force. When up is down and down is up, it's usually a sign that things have gone crazy and out of control. But in Gravity Rush Remastered, it's exactly how things are supposed to be, and it's literally under your control.
Admittedly, there's a little bit of a learning curve in using Kat's special powers. When shifting gravity around, the camera tries to keep up but doesn't always succeed. And since the game supports the PS4's Sixaxis motion controls for aiming, any accidental tilting of the controller can add to the disorientation. After a bit of adjustment and some good old-fashioned practice, though, you'll soon be falling up and flying down with ease.The original Gravity Rush was one of the PS Vita's 'must have' titles, and for good reason. Its story was engaging, its gameplay was unique, and it was one of the most visually stunning games to ever hit the portable console. With Remastered, the game gets a pretty substantial upgrade in the visuals and sound, more than worthy of a full-size, current-generation release.
There are a few rough spots, mainly in some animations and movements, where the game still shows its handheld roots. Big hunter mon world quest. Even so, Gravity Rush Remastered, with its improvements, extra content, and PS4 controller support, is the best way to play with this physics-defying classic.
