This instalment of Alternate Dungeons presents loads of great details, hints and tips for a GM designing an adventure set in an abandoned temple. Designed to save a GM's time while adding flavoursome details to bring the locale alive in the player's minds, Alternate Dungeons: Abandoned Temple is an essential tool in any GM's arsenal.
This guide aims to show the loot provided when raiding dungeons. There are two types of raids that are provided by two different gumballs. A “normal” raid is the function provided after acquiring Bandit gumball from the Borderland dungeon. Upon receipt, vigor (the carrots at the top of the screen) can be used to obtain various treasure from a dungeon without entering the dungeon. This includes both land and air mazes. Spy gumball (obtained by entering 35 secret codes and then entering “joinme” from the in game code menu - secret codes are beyond the scope of this guide) provides the ability to raid special event mazes additional times beyond what Bandit allows. Specific to air maze raids are the incorporation of random rare drops.
When looting sky mazes, there is a chance for the mazes to drop a special loot, based on RNG. Often, this rare drop replaces relics or a lower rune for a higher star (.) rune. Land dungeon raids cost either two (2) or three (3) vigor each depending on the dungeon, each event maze raid costs three (3) vigor each, while sky maze raids cost one (1) vigor each.
Expedition cruises. On 10 June, just before the hearing, significant changes were made to the, which made it an offence to collect or publish information about the nature, use, or carriage of 'war materials' for any reason. This was used to prohibit discussion about the ship's cargo. Previously, this had only been an offence if the information was collected to aid the enemy.
Please note that this document is a work in progress. In some cases with air mazes, this guide provides a “best guess” when identifying certain loot as rare.
Such items are identified as rare by designation of RARE before it. Additionally, some items are designated with a “?” when verification is required to be certain. Any areas where a “?” is designated, please provide a screenshot and upload in the notes for this guide to document the verified information.
