Silent Hunter Resolution Fix is a mod for Silent Hunter III, co-authored by Danlisa.
Description:
This mod forces SH3 (and any super mods) to run in resolutions higher than the original coded 1024 x 768.
How to install:Big hunter hack download.
1) Extract the contents of SH3_XPSP2_Res_Fix_for_1.4b;
Find all the latest Silent Hunter III PC game best mods on GameWatcher.com. Download Silent Hunter 3 Mod Tool for free. This tool helps users of Silent Hunter 3 to install and remove mods from the game files.
2) Copy & Paste the following files to the main SH3 program folder, usually this is C:Program FilesSilent Hunter 3:
d3d9.cfg
d3d9.dll
SHIII.sdb
SP2 Rez fix uninstall.bat
SP2 Rez fix.bat
3) Once copied, run the SP2 Rez fix.bat file.
4) Edit the d3d9.cfg file on the following lines to include your desired resolution:
resX=1280
resY=960
5) While there, add your desired screeshot path to the line below (please note this mod disables the Ctrl + F11 function, you must use PrtScr):
screenshotPath=C:Documents and SettingsOwnerMy DocumentsSH3 Screens (for example).
6) Start your game and enjoy SH3 as it was ment to be.

Silent Hunter III features a fully dynamic campaign. Instead of giving the player a specific set of objectives for each mission, Silent Hunter III simply assigns the player a certain patrol grid, and appropriate naval traffic, such as convoys, destroyer escorts, and task forces are automatically generated by the simulation engine. How the mission proceeds and what targets are attacked is left totally up to the player. In addition to being a more accurate representation of WWII U-Boat warfare, the dynamic campaign significantly improves the game's replay value, as the campaign plays out differently each time.
