Yoshinori Ono, the producer of the Street Fighter IV series, has said that a Switch re-release of Street Fighter IV and V would be Nintendo’s choice, as stated during a panel at EGX 2019 (via Destructoid). Eurogamer interviewed Ono at the event as part of a panel, and a fan inquired whether Street Fighter’s Blanka would ever appear in Smash.

In other words, if a new game in the series shows up on the Xbox One at some point, it will be Street Fighter 6. In December, just after the reveal of Street Fighter 5, Microsoft's Xbox head Phil Spencer commented on the, saying, 'I'd love it if XBOX fans could play all the games, but business just makes some deals happen.
It's all part of competition.'
