Can we unite in this endevour?

The benefits apart from some nice thesis and soft skills is actual growth on the server through a united player base effort.

• I think we all are united in this effort. But may not be everyone\'s focus. It will get done, sorry not everything is completely finished instantly to satisfy your impatience.
  
• Most players do not have right jobs to get new research that\'s why BAR\'s gauge is slowly increase every day.

  This will help you to get right job for research. I had to do quests to get jobs before I can do research for BAR ,but I also am still waiting for BAR to unlock 3rd building so that I can start to research Artisan job.

  Oh, I believe some players are still working on Oxford research too.
• problem with Boston research is that each thesis requires you to be in a specific job as well as having a certain skill

  Example: Fishing thesis require Fisher job and fishing skill.and this is the easy one to get

• not having the specific job is my problem of doing boston thesis.
• carla my point is fisher is the only job you can get early.the rest u gotta do quests for
• Oh I forgot to mention that some jobs won\'t available like I mean some jobs such as Arts Dealer, Hunter, Trade Merchant, Arms dealer, Surgeon, BH, etc because of high levels and difficult to get.
• Just keep redoing the fisher task - Ive done it loike 20 times.
  Note that you dont have to fish - collection an procurement works too.
  Just a few \'high\' value items and its done.
  
• The problem for me is that non of the jobs available at Boston are ones I would normally be in for any other reason.
  I have done the privateer one about 25 times but it\'s a waste of profiency in skills for me to use a low-end job and not gain skill levels .
• I dont see any benefit of developing academic association building.

  Some job researches of star1 arent available atm and will be unlocked next update.

  Presumably this is also the case for star 2/3/4. I cannot devote time and effort for uncertain rewards.

  At least, you should tell exactly which jobs are now available (after meeting conditions) and which academic skills are useful and worth our time and effort.

  IMO, we dont need to hurry and may start working it next update. We will have chef job research which is by far the fastest and easiest of all (100 times great success production).

• I don’t yet see a benefit to doing them. None of the current jobs are any use to me, in fact as culvern says they would actually hinder my progress and I would miss a lot of prof in other skills. And to top it of you need to coming back to Boston to refresh the thesis.

  I have been working Geography & Theology theses for weeks and will continue until 2nd bldg is opened. Count on me.
• Art Dealer boston theses can be done pretty quickly and repeatedly

  via port hopping between Genoa & Pisa or between Amsterdam & Antwerp, all of which sell plenty of Textiles/Fabrics/Artworks/Crafts,

  especially in conjunction with any combination of PO3s, Expert Trade Skills Manuals, Alchemist Robe EX, Trade Goods 3 Type Bargain 1/2 Oxford skills, equipment that add bonuses to Fibers, Fabrics, Artworks, Crafts,..
• If I read that Japanese wiki right, one of the Astronomer boston thesis allows for discovering some astronomy discoveries without having to have any corresponding \'Adept of Age\' titles for said discoveries, making is boston skill particularly useful.
• You can report and initiate previously availabke boston thesis at mediators - you only need to visit boston to get new ones - just like oxford and scholars.
  
• This remind me of a old joke LOL.

  port hopping combined with PO3s

  (even quicker in conjunction with Expert Trading Skill +3 papers and Alchemist Robe EX equipped that effectively allows for buying more trade goods at a time)

  Then opens up the treasure chest found on the treasure map where X marks the spot, and inside that treasure chest is one.. lousy.. letter.. X. :D
