Hey, Gameloft! Just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate this game.
Being a product of the shooting games of the '90s, I have to commend you on what you've accomplished with this game. Fast, fluid, and entertaining, and totally old-school with the best of the new blended in. It makes me feel very old when the younger generation of gamers start talking about this game and comparing it to Call of Duty 4, and I have to say 'Counter-Strike, what?' And I have to admit that I feel kinda silly for finding my current favourite arcade-shooting game as an $8 download game despite owning a few of the Call of Duty games, which this frankly blows out of the water.
I was wondering, however, what the likelihood of having the following either being patched in or offered as downloadable content is:
1. 4-player offline split-screen. Especially with the offline BOT mode, I don't think it would be too hard to code in a 4-player local split-screen option, and I'm sure a number of people would agree that this feature would be much appreciated. In fact, this feature is currently the ONLY reason why I still own a copy of Call of Duty 4.
2. Custom Soundtrack support. I know that this game is a borderline tactical shooter, but with the arcade-feel and spirit it has, I know I'd personally love to have some sort of background music playing, and since it'd be cheaper to allow Custom Soundtracks than it would be to create new music and patch it in, I think it'd be a great addition.
3. Lastly, with the lobby system that's in place, would it be possible to add the ability to create public ranked rooms? I know there's a custom private room option, but what about ranked? Obviously, there'd need to be limitations on the settings so as to preventing boosting, but this feature alone would easily sell this game on its own.
Now normally, I don't condone developers who release a half-finished game and either patch in or release DLC to finish the game off later, and I'm not saying that that was the case here. What I am saying is that I rarely pay for DLC, and in the case of Modern Combat: Domination, I would EASILY pay for DLC that added in those three things I listed above, and if everyone else who bought this game reads this thread, I'm sure they'd agree that those items would be very much loved additions to an already fantastic game.

Modern Combat: Domination is an online low cost multiplayer first person shooter developed by Gameloft for PlayStation 3 and Mac. The game features both a single player mode and multiplayer mode. The game is the third Modern Combat game to be released, after Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.

In before 'TL ;D R,' ha ha!Hello!Domination is considered a legacy game (it's almost 3 years old) so I doubt it will be updated.That being said, we are looking at the options available to us at the moment.I'm hoping for a version 2 not just an update. This is a great casual FPS game. Bummed it stopped working on my Mac (it was the only real game that ever worked)but I still play it a lot on my PS3.I'll try the fix to see it will work again.UPDATE: This trick does work.
I added one little thing on 4Step by step:1. Right click the Application (MC Domination) and click on 'Show Package Contents'.2. Open the Contents folder3. Edit the 'Info.plist' file (You can use this program to make your life easier = )4. Change the value of Bundle Version from 1.0.4 (or whatever your version is) to 1.0.5.CHANGE ALL VALUES FOUND IN THE FILE.5. Save the changes and exit6.
