Today in Planet Centauri Gameplay we check out the Cow Update and Catch a T-Rex with a Soul Gem Level.
Loads, but the champs are definitely Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3, which I completed 100% (which requires to beat the game 2-3 times per difficulty level for the latter two, and completion of 300 optional missions for the first), and One Must Fall: 2097, which I played at least once a month (and often, far more than that) for well over a decade. The first Assassin's Creed is notable, too, in that I basically went AC1 - AC2 - AC1 - AC:B - AC1 - AC:R. (Un)fortunately, I then skipped straight to AC4, which I haven't finished yet; perhaps it's a sign I should replay AC1 again?:DGuess I'm weird in that I usually play a game for as long as it entertains me, regardless of its 'actual' length; some I play long after they've ended, many I stop even before reaching it for the first time, and it's only a select few (mostly those really plot-heavy, like VNs or adventure games) that manage to satisfy me just as the closing curtains drop. PC Top Ten (In no particular order)1.
Fallout series2. Arcanum series3. Master of Orion 24. Full Throttle7. HoMM series8.
V:tM Bloodlines9. Diablo/Diablo 210. Disciples seriesHonorable mentions: AoW, OMF 2097, Alpha Centauri/Xfire, ME 1, DA: O, Deus Ex, System Shock, Wing Commander, Heretic, Blood, Hexen.Console Top Ten (In no particular order)1.
FF: Tactics2. Castlevania series3. Paper Mario series4. Gym atari. Resident Evil (PSOne era mostly.)5. Dino Crisis series6.
Redeemer christian school. Onimusha series7. Devil May Cry 1-58. CoD: World at War9. Legacy of Kain Blood Omen. It is quite hard to take the time to play through games multiple times with my ever-expanding backlog of games, but there are a few titles from over the years that I just can't help but play over and over again.
Here are the few I can remember:Lunar: The Silver Star - When I first played the Sega CD original, I was blown away by the colorful characters, engaging story and the top-notch localization by Working Designs. I probably played this version at least 10 times. Add to that all of the ports (PSone, GBA, iOS, and PSP), and I've probably played this game in its various forms at least 15 times if not more. It is far and away my favorite J-RPG of all time.Another World - I first played this game under it's American title Out of this World on the Sega Genesis. When the sequel, Heart of the Alien was released on Sega CD, I picked that up on day one and was pleasantly surprised that it included the original game as well. Between these two versions, I probably played this game about 30 times. Of course, that's not too hard considering how short the game is.
Since then, I have picked up many of the ports that have come out over the last few years (PC, iOS, 3DS, Wii U, PSP, PS3 & PS4), so my playthroughs probably total around 50 times by now. I just love the visual style, the brilliant puzzles and the minimalist plot so much.
It's such a gorgeous game.Ragnarok Online - I first played this game in the late 90's. As an MMO, it's obviously not possible to 'beat' this game, but I find myself returning to it every few years. There is just something so addicting about it that most other MMOs I've played don't seem to have. Whether it's leveling up to 99, acquiring legendary gear, or farming for rare loot, the quasi-Norse fantasy world and SNES-style graphics just keep me coming back to this game time and again. Recently had to get new PC and dealing with Windows!0 So installed most important games first, of course. HehI’ve managed to get over 20 games installed, and working (this PC has no vid card, just integrated intel graphics). However, 2 games don’t work, Icewind Dale 2 and Star Wars galactic battlegrounds.
Both games might be having issues with the HDMI output (at least SWGB probably is).Played the longest and still play?Definitely Starcraft (original but not all the way through Brood War expansion campaign, yet)Diablo 2 with Lord of Destruction expansion, and patches.Played through the most?Mass Effect 1 played through at least 18 times (have to play through twice to get to level 60).ME 2 probably over 15 times, only 8 to 10 times with all dlc.ME 3 only about 8 to 10 times.Rage at least 10 times.Dragon Age Origins Complete at least 10 timesBorderlands 1 8 to 10 times. Heroes of Might and Magic 2,3,4,5. They helped me keep my sanity in difficult times.Microprose Gunship 2000 Never got bored of finding different ways to sneak up on the enemy. Once tried (and succeeded!) flying cautiously through a railway tunnel to surprise them in a cutting.F117 recent GoG purchase, but many hours with the original releaseSid Meiers Colonization. Again recent GoG purchase, but many hours spent with the original.Geoff Crammond GP3.
Hours spent with a friend racing through seasons taking turns with competing teams.Laser Squad. My first ever all nighter, hot seat with a friend.
